Impactions/ Wisdom tooth extraction
Wisdom teeth/ Third Molars have the tendency to cause pain during eruption. They may erupt breaking through the Gum tissue, causing Gum problems (Pericoronitis), partially erupted (exerting pressure on the adjacent teeth) or completely embedded within the Jaw. Flap surgery
it is a type of Gum procedure where gums are separated from teeth and folded back temporarily. This allows the dentist to reach the root of the tooth and bone. It is used in people with MODERATE TO SEVERE PERIODONTITIS where the patient often complains of LOOSE TEETH, BAD SMELL ALONG with BITTER TASTE at times from the mouth, it is needed when deep infected pockets are formed and it is too hard to keep them clean and gums around the teeth are damaged and cannot be fixed with non-surgical techniques like deep cleaning and medication. Alveoloplasty
it is also known as shaping of alveolar process using surgical methods. It is done if you have bony projections, sharp crestal bones or undercuts.
